Cât de cald va fi până la sfârșit de septembrie. Elena Mateescu, prognoza pentru următoarele săptămâni
This summer's severe drought has highlighted the vulnerabilities in Romania's energy system, particularly affecting the Cernavodă nuclear plant and hydroelectric production. A national debate organized by Antena 3 CNN brought together decision-makers, energy company representatives, and meteorology experts to discuss climate change and its implications for Romania's energy security. Elena Mateescu, head of the National Meteorological Administration, shared data on temperature trends and forecasts, indicating that the years 2012-2025 represent the hottest consecutive period recorded in Romania. She warned that 2026 could also rank among the hottest years, with above-normal temperatures expected to persist into autumn, alongside a continued deficit in precipitation. Some rain is anticipated this weekend in specific regions.
