Cât cheltuie România pe educație în comparație cu Franța
The Romanian government spends significantly less on education compared to France, which allocated nearly 200 billion euros in 2025, representing 6.7% of its GDP. Despite this substantial investment, French students are protesting due to poor school conditions, overcrowded classrooms, and inadequate facilities. In contrast, Romania's education budget was only 61.5 billion lei (approximately 12.4 billion euros), or 3.23% of its GDP, highlighting a stark disparity in funding. The PISA report indicates that many Romanian students struggle with reading comprehension, further emphasizing the challenges faced by the education system in both countries. Protests in France have escalated, with students and teachers demanding better conditions and resources.
