Cât cheltuie România pe educație în comparație cu Franța

The Romanian government spends significantly less on education compared to France, which allocated nearly 200 billion euros in 2025. Despite this high expenditure, French students are protesting due to poor school conditions, overcrowded classes, and inadequate facilities. In contrast, Romania's education budget was only 61.5 billion lei, or 12.4 billion euros, representing just 3.23% of its GDP. The PISA report indicates that many Romanian students struggle with reading comprehension, highlighting systemic issues in the education sector. Protests in France have escalated, with students demanding improvements amid a backdrop of national strikes and rising public debt.
