In July 2026, apartment prices in Romania's major cities rose by an average of 6% compared to July 2025, with Cluj-Napoca remaining the most expensive market. Significant price increases were noted for new apartments in Constanța and old ones in Timișoara. The analysis by Storia indicates that while the market remained stable compared to June 2026, most cities experienced annual price hikes. Cluj-Napoca's average price reached €3,298 per square meter, significantly higher than other cities. Constanța saw the highest annual increase for new apartments at 14%, while Timișoara led for old apartments with a 12% rise. Bucharest's old apartments decreased by 2% year-on-year.
