Câştigul fondurilor de pensii private obligatorii a depășit pragul de 100 de miliarde de lei (Date APAPR)

For the first time, the net gain of mandatory private pension funds in Romania has exceeded 100 billion lei, reaching 108.6 billion lei by July 2026. The net assets managed for 8.5 million participants have risen to 246.7 billion lei. The funds have paid out 7.9 billion lei to over 350,000 beneficiaries, demonstrating the system's effectiveness. Approximately 95% of the assets are invested in Romania, primarily in government bonds and listed companies, contributing to economic growth and job creation. The second pillar has become a crucial part of Romania's pension system, supporting future retirees and the national economy.
