Castelul Miko din Olteni va deveni muzeu şi va fi inclus în Ruta curiilor din Transilvania
The Miko Castle in Olteni, restored with EU funds, will open in September as the Equestrian Museum of Szeklerland, enhancing local tourism. Mayor Fodor Istvan announced that the castle will initially welcome local residents before its official inauguration on September 6. The castle, built in 1827, features unique interior murals depicting social life and Napoleonic wars. It was sold to local authorities in 2014 and restored with a budget of 20 million lei, co-financed by the PNRR. The castle will be part of the Transylvanian Curiosities Route, a national cultural tourism initiative.
