Miko Castle in Olteni will reopen on September 5, hosting the Szekler Equestrian Museum after restoration funded by the EU. The inauguration will feature the Italian film "Vita mia," filmed on-site. Built in 1827, the castle showcases unique murals depicting social life and Napoleonic wars. It was sold to local authorities in 2014 after being returned to the Miko family in 2007. The restoration cost around 20 million lei, aiming to enhance public access and promote local culture. The castle will also be part of a national cultural route. The reopening event includes artistic performances and guided tours.
