As Halloween approaches, Bran Castle in Romania ranks 12th among the world's most mysterious destinations. Tourists from Europe and the US are drawn to its Dracula legend. While preparations for Halloween are underway, the castle has seen an increase in foreign visitors, with 60% of this year's guests coming from abroad. Last year, about one million tourists visited, with a notable rise in American tourists. Built in 1377, Bran Castle originally served as a military fortress. Admission fees vary, with adults paying 120 lei and children between 50 and 80 lei.
