Castel din România, premiat la nivel european în 2026 pentru lucrările de restaurare. Placheta a fost montată la Răscruci

The Bánffy Castle in Răscruci, Cluj County, received a plaque for winning the European Heritage Award – Europa Nostra 2026 and the Public Choice Award. The awards were given for a restoration project costing approximately €11.5 million, with funding from both European sources and the Cluj County budget. The restoration included significant work on the castle's structure, decorative elements, and surrounding park. The castle, linked to the Bánffy noble family since 1405, has been transformed into a cultural space for events and exhibitions after its reopening in 2023.
