Case albastre, oameni cu aripi și pești zburători: lumea lui Ștefan Câlția, într-o clădire istorică din Sibiu
In a former monastery in Sibiu, Ștefan Câlția presents his largest exhibition, "Transilvania | Extravaganza," showcasing the magical world of Făgăraș. The building has a rich history, transitioning from a Dominican monastery to a Lutheran school and later a Catholic institution. The exhibition features blue houses and flying fish, reflecting the artist's childhood memories. It is curated by Laviana Dan and designed by Eliza Yokina, creating an immersive experience. The venue is also home to protected bat species, adding a unique aspect to the exhibition. Câlția received the National Order "Steaua României" during the opening, and he plans to donate a painting to the Brukenthal Museum, linking his personal history to the institution's past.
