The Casa Verde Baterii program will no longer operate on a 'first come, first served' basis, according to interim Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu. The initiative will allocate 400 million lei for energy storage batteries, marking a shift from previous investments in photovoltaics without storage systems. New criteria for applicant selection will prioritize those willing to co-finance their battery systems. The Ministry aims to improve the funding guide based on public feedback and hopes to launch the program by October.
