The historic Casa Dimitrie Bolintineanu, built in 1883, has been restored and modernized, featuring a stunning orangerie. This local heritage site, now known as "the villa. Event House," was transformed by Liliana Cristea into a venue for impactful events. The restoration project, nominated for the 2025 National Architecture Biennale, was led by Baukunst DG architects. The house has a rich history, previously owned by notable figures like Costache Păucescu and Alexandru Racoviceanu. Dimitrie Bolintineanu, a significant poet, lived in an earlier structure on the site before it was remodeled. The restoration faced challenges due to the building's deteriorated condition, requiring extensive structural work.
