Casa Albă i-a cerut demisia ambasadoarei care a dat de înțeles că este implicată în doborârea guvernului Bolojan

The White House has requested the resignation of Kimberly Guilfoyle as U.S. ambassador to Greece following her controversial remarks suggesting U.S. involvement in the fall of the Romanian government led by Ilie Bolojan. Guilfoyle allegedly hinted at U.S. influence during a dinner in Athens, stating that the U.S. could intervene in any country. Additionally, she faced scrutiny for asking a Republican donor to cover a personal debt before her Senate confirmation. Guilfoyle, a former prosecutor and Trump supporter, was appointed ambassador in 2025.
