Cartea ”Apocalipsa”, cea mai valoroasă carte din lume, a fost furată: Are peste 150 de kilograme și este un exemplar unic
The book "Apocalypse" by Joseph Forêt, featuring a cover by Salvador Dalí, was stolen from the Contemporary Art Center in Issoire, France. Weighing 150 kg, the cover is considered a significant artwork adorned with precious materials. The book itself, created between 1958 and 1961, includes illustrations by renowned 20th-century artists. After being exhibited worldwide, the cover disappeared for years before being purchased in 2003 by Christian Karoutzos. The theft has been described as an "inestimable" loss, with the mayor emphasizing its cultural importance. An investigation is underway by the local gendarmerie.
