The recurring operating result for the first half reached 757 million euros, though analysts had forecasted 779 million euros. The retailer is focusing on increasing market share in its core countries and enhancing profitability through price reductions and digital investments. Seasonal demand during a heatwave in June significantly boosted sales of cooling products.
