Caroli Foods Group has launched a photovoltaic park near its Pitești factory, investing over 1.3 million euros to enhance renewable energy use. The facility spans 22,000 square meters and includes 3,600 solar panels, generating an estimated 2,750 MWh annually for the factory's own consumption. This initiative aims to improve operational efficiency and reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 610 tons per year. The factory is crucial for Caroli's operations, employing around 700 staff and producing over 30,000 tons of products annually. The investment reflects the company's commitment to sustainable development and energy autonomy.
