Caroli Foods și-a construit parc fotovoltaic pentru fabrica din Pitești

Caroli Foods Group has built a photovoltaic park near its Pitești factory to power its production of ready meals and packaged meat products. The investment exceeds 1.3 million euros and is fully financed from internal sources. The solar park will cover about 23% of the factory's annual electricity consumption, potentially avoiding around 610 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. The facility includes 3,600 solar panels with a total capacity of 2.52 MW, generating an estimated 2,750 MWh of electricity per year for the factory's own use. This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency and support sustainable development in the local community.
