On July 31, 2026, fuel prices in Romania increased by up to 34 bani per liter, affecting both gasoline and diesel. Standard gasoline now costs between 9.36 and 9.44 lei per liter, while premium gasoline ranges from 9.84 to 10.02 lei. Diesel prices have also risen, with standard diesel priced between 10.42 and 10.68 lei, and premium diesel between 11.19 and 11.48 lei. LPG prices have increased as well, averaging 4.58 lei per liter. The cheapest fuel can be found in Teleorman and Mureș counties, with prices as low as 8.65 lei for gasoline and 10.25 lei for diesel. In Cluj Napoca, gasoline is sold for 9.26 lei and diesel for 10.27 lei.
