On July 29, 2026, fuel prices in Romania increased by up to 15 bani per liter for both gasoline and diesel. Standard gasoline now costs between 9.16 and 9.27 lei per liter, while premium gasoline ranges from 9.64 to 9.87 lei. Diesel prices have also risen, with standard diesel priced between 10.07 and 10.23 lei, and premium diesel between 10.84 and 11.04 lei. The price of GPL remains stable at around 4.52-4.55 lei. The cheapest fuel can be found in Teleorman and Mureș counties, where gasoline is sold for 8.65 lei and 8.74 lei, respectively, and diesel for 9.97 lei and 9.79 lei. In Cluj-Napoca, gasoline is priced at 9.14 lei and diesel at 10.05 lei.
