On September 23, 2026, fuel prices in Romania have increased, particularly for premium diesel, which now costs between 11.68 and 11.78 lei per liter. Regular gasoline prices have also risen by six bani, with standard gasoline priced between 9.93 and 10.05 lei, and premium gasoline between 10.41 and 10.62 lei. However, standard diesel and GPL prices remain unchanged. The cheapest fuel can be found in Dâmbovița County, where gasoline is sold for 9.87 lei and diesel for 10.75 lei. In Timișoara, prices are slightly higher, with gasoline at 9.91 lei and diesel at 10.88 lei.
