Care e țara din Europa cu cei mai mulți soldați trimiși în Rusia? Ce știm de românii care luptă pentru Putin • Newsweek România

Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion, Russia has recruited nearly 46,000 foreign soldiers from 151 countries, including Europeans. The highest number of recruits comes from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Belarus, with increasing rates from Africa and Latin America. A significant portion of foreign soldiers joined the Russian army for citizenship or through military recruitment offices. Many were unaware they would fight against Ukraine. Russia actively recruits foreign tourists and migrant workers with promises of high salaries, sometimes coercing them into signing contracts. Organizations are working to expose this recruitment and assist foreign prisoners of war.
