The company launched 12 offers on the OPCOM market, with a selling price of 750 lei/MWh. Demand was high, leading to all energy being sold, indicating a market expectation for rising prices. CE Oltenia has recently sold nearly 0.9 TWh, representing about 1.5% of Romania's annual consumption. Despite operational challenges, including limited coal supply, the company continues to participate in successful auctions amid high market prices. Former CEO Daniel Burlan highlighted issues at coal mines affecting supply.
