The Border Police reported the seizure of counterfeit goods worth 1.8 million lei, including clothing, shoes, cosmetics, and perfumes from Turkey and Moldova. Approximately 2,000 counterfeit items were discovered, with over 900 found on DN39, brought by four Romanian citizens without proper documentation. Additionally, over 1,000 counterfeit clothing items valued at around 1.6 million lei were found in a vehicle registered in Moldova. Investigations are ongoing regarding the circulation of these counterfeit products, and all items have been confiscated for further legal action.
