A time capsule has been placed in the foundation of the new stadium in Pitești, which will have 15,200 seats and is classified as UEFA category 4. Minister Cseke Attila emphasized government support for sports infrastructure investments, which are crucial for local development and hosting international competitions. The stadium, named after Nicolae Dobrin, will feature various facilities for spectators, players, and media, and is expected to be completed by 2028. The total investment exceeds 374 million lei, with local authorities contributing 25%.
