Capacitatea ofensivă a Rusiei a fost anihilată, anunță fostul șef al armatei ucrainene, Oleksandr Sîrski
Ukraine has stabilized its front line and diminished Russia's offensive capabilities, according to former Ukrainian army chief Oleksandr Syrski. He noted that Russian losses are significantly higher than Ukraine's, with estimates suggesting up to half a million Russian soldiers killed since the invasion began in 2022. In September alone, Russian forces reportedly lost over 50,000 troops, while Ukrainian losses were around 5,000. Syrski dismissed claims from his soldiers about being ordered to hold positions under threat of encirclement, which led to high casualties. Both countries do not release official loss figures, but various intelligence sources provide estimates.
