Capacitatea de stocare a energiei crește rapid. Am ajuns la 2.000 MWh, care sunt acum cele mai mari baterii din România - Economica.net

Romania's energy storage capacity has reached nearly 2,000 MWh and 989 MW installed power, according to Transelectrica's latest data. The growth in storage capacity is significant, with almost 900 MWh added in four months. New installations include a 72 MWh battery by Hidroelectrica and a 160 MWh facility in Giurgiu. The importance of batteries is highlighted by low river flow affecting hydro and nuclear energy production. The country has over 3,000 MW of dispatchable solar capacity, which can charge batteries during the day for evening peak consumption. Future projects include a 200 MW storage facility in Cluj, expected to be operational by December 2025.
