The Port of Constanța is installing modern weight-in-motion systems at key truck access points, focusing on Gate 10. The National Company of Maritime Ports has already installed scales at Gates 7 and 10 bis, with ongoing work at Gates 10 and 14. This technology uses fiber optic sensors to weigh vehicles up to 200 tons at speeds between 5 and 90 km/h. It aims to improve traffic management by centralizing data and redirecting trucks to prevent congestion.
