Meteorologists forecast extremely high temperatures reaching 38-39 degrees Celsius in western Romania, with yellow and orange heat warnings in effect. While most of the country will experience hot weather, the coast will see milder temperatures around 26-27 degrees. The maximum temperatures are expected to exceed 35 degrees, particularly in the Western Plain. The heat index will also surpass the critical threshold of 80 units, increasing thermal discomfort. In the capital, temperatures will reach 32-33 degrees, with clear skies and light winds. Specific counties are under orange warnings for the highest temperatures.
