Romgaz plans to start supplying gas to households and small non-household consumers after the expiration of the current emergency ordinance regulating prices, expected on April 1, 2026. The company, which is the largest gas producer in Romania, is currently restricted in its operations due to existing regulations that limit staff increases. Despite these challenges, Romgaz has managed to secure a 6.5% salary increase for its employees. The company has also conducted recruitment for its supply department, admitting 72 candidates for various positions, but still faces staffing shortages.
