A more accurate forecast will be available after September 15. The Energy Command estimates that the reactors could be operational only if the water levels rise. Bușoi reassured that energy supply remains stable, with imports covering any shortfalls until the reactors are back online. He noted that renewable energy sources are helping meet demand, especially during peak hours. The Danube's flow is expected to remain low throughout September, impacting cooling water availability for the reactors. Nuclearelectrica's leadership is also undergoing changes, with a new interim director appointed.
