The new Burn Center for Children at "Grigore Alexandrescu" Hospital in Bucharest is expected to open by late next year, with significant construction progress reported. Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete noted that the facility, which will feature modern intensive care and operating rooms, is on track for completion by mid-2027. The center will ensure a separate medical circuit for severely burned children to minimize contact with other patients. The project has a budget of around 80 million euros, with half already disbursed, and procurement procedures for medical equipment will begin soon.
