The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced that the Regional Emergency Hospital in Iași is expected to reach ground level by early next year, with patient admissions projected for 2029. He highlighted that the project timeline has been extended to accommodate potential administrative and technical delays. The construction has focused on ground stabilization, with over 22,000 elements installed. The hospital will cover 120,000 square meters and include 850 beds and 20 operating rooms. After construction, an additional three to six months will be needed for functional testing and administrative organization before it can open.
