If transporting multiple children, the fourth child can sit in the front if safety regulations are followed. Additionally, if a child seat is used in the front, it must be approved for that position and the airbag must be deactivated. The previous rule prohibiting children under 12 in the front seat has been changed since 2015, leading to confusion.
