Când merită să investești într-un sistem de stocare a energiei și cum se dimensionează corect

Romanian homeowners with photovoltaic panels are increasingly seeking energy storage solutions to utilize daytime energy at night. Experts emphasize that battery investment is worthwhile only if properly sized according to actual consumption and surplus production. For a household consuming 450 kWh monthly with a 6 kW solar system, a 10 kWh battery is recommended, costing around €3,500-5,000. Proper sizing considers evening consumption, daily surplus, and peak power needs. Lithium iron phosphate batteries are preferred for their efficiency and longevity. Investment is justified for prosumers who generate more energy than they consume, especially when energy costs exceed the value of injected surplus. Demand for storage batteries has surged, with many achieving nearly 100% self-consumption.
