Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, eligible students will receive school scholarships, with payments expected to begin in November 2026. The proposed amounts include 450 lei for merit scholarships, 300 lei for social and technological scholarships, and 700 lei for minor mothers. Eligibility criteria for merit scholarships include being in the top 15% of the class with a minimum average of 9. Social scholarships are available for students from low-income families or with special circumstances. The payment schedule is set for the 20th of each month, covering previous months' amounts. Changes to the methodology are still pending approval.
