Students receiving merit, social, or technological scholarships for the 2026-2027 school year will receive their first payments on November 20, covering September and October. Schools must report estimated amounts and beneficiary numbers to school inspectorates by October 20. The merit scholarship is set at 450 lei per month, while social and technological scholarships are 300 lei each. Payments are made monthly on the 20th for the previous month, with adjustments for non-working days. The methodology for scholarships remains based on the framework approved by government decision. Social scholarships are available during vacations to support students in need.
