Când ar putea fi repornite reactoarele de la Cernavodă. Cristian Bușoi exclude următoarele 10 zile
The two reactors at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant will not restart in the next ten days, according to Cristian Bușoi from the Ministry of Energy. He stated that the energy system remains stable despite the lack of nuclear production. Current forecasts for the Danube's flow do not allow for a clear date for the reactors' return to the National Energy System. Bușoi noted that regional energy conditions have stabilized, reducing pressure on electricity imports from Hungary. While nuclear production is halted, natural gas plants are operating at high capacity, and wind energy contributes to consumption coverage. Import levels may peak at around 3,500 MW during high-demand hours in October, but daytime consumption is currently met without issues. The reactors were shut down due to low Danube levels affecting cooling conditions, with the first unit stopped on July 28 and the second on August 13.
