Când ar putea fi repornită centrala de la Cernavodă. Ce spune Cristian Bușoi
The Cernavodă nuclear power plant will not restart before September 10 due to insufficient water levels in the Danube. Cristian Bușoi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, emphasized that safety procedures must be strictly followed. Although forecasts indicate rising water levels, they are not yet stable enough for safe reactor operation. A decision on restarting one of the reactors may be made around September 10, depending on the Danube's conditions. Bușoi also mentioned that the plant will operate during the winter, despite planned upgrades for Unit 1, which will close for over two years starting next year. The plant halted production on August 13 due to low water levels, prompting authorities to take measures to increase water flow to the facility.
