Cătălin Sprînceană, president of the Federation, noted significant progress on the construction site during a recent visit. The velodrome will be the first indoor facility of its kind in Romania, addressing the long-standing absence of a certified track for national competitions. The Federation seeks to ensure the velodrome opens with an international event, contingent on timely completion and necessary approvals.
