Cancerul de sân: obiceiul care crește riscul, fără să-ți dai seama

Alcohol consumption is a well-known risk factor for breast cancer, yet awareness among Europeans is low. A British study highlights lifestyle changes between ages 30 and 50 that can affect cancer risk, including alcohol intake and body weight. Only 15% of surveyed individuals recognized the link between alcohol and breast tumors. The research, involving over 110,000 women, aims to identify critical periods for lifestyle changes to enhance prevention programs. Breast cancer diagnoses are rising, particularly among younger women, with a 29% increase in cases among those aged 20 to 54 from 1990 to 2023.
