The National Dinghy Championship will take place in Constanța from August 25 to 30, despite safety concerns due to drone fragments found on the coast. The event will feature competitors from six clubs and will include classes such as Optimist and ILCA. Ebru Bolat, an Olympic participant, is among the athletes. Although there were calls to move the competition to Lake Siutghiol for safety reasons, the Romanian Yachting Federation decided to keep it in Tomis Port, citing a survey where 76% of respondents preferred the Black Sea location. The championship can be attended by the public during the six-day event.
