Campionatul Mondial de Surf Canin din California: zeci de câini s-au întrecut pe valuri

The World Dog Surfing Championship took place in Pacifica, California, featuring numerous dogs from various countries. Participants showcased their surfing skills while wearing life jackets and, in some cases, protective goggles. The event, now in its tenth edition, included around 20 teams of dogs and their owners competing based on size and performance criteria. Notable competitors included Rusty, a miniature pinscher, and Iza, a French bulldog, both of whom demonstrated remarkable surfing abilities. Due to strong waves, organizers replaced the traditional 'Top Dog' award with a special trophy for 'Spirit of Surfing', awarded to labrador Rosie. The event also featured a costume parade and adoption sessions.
