Campanie de screening gratuit pentru cancerul de sân în Sectorul 6

The Local Council of Sector 6 approved a free breast cancer screening campaign for women, initiated by USR councilors. This initiative coincides with October's global breast cancer awareness month. The campaign will run from October 1-31, offering 300 free imaging investigations, including 200 mammograms for women aged 45-74 and 100 breast ultrasounds for those under 45. The screenings will take place at the Multifunctional Health Center 'Saint Nectarios' and prioritize vulnerable women, including those with disabilities, single mothers, and victims of domestic violence. The vice mayor emphasized the importance of early health issue identification for effective medical intervention.
