Between October 10-11, 2026, Brașov residents are invited to participate in the "Brașov Reciclează" campaign for collecting electronic waste. Organized by ECOTIC and local authorities, the initiative aims to promote responsible environmental behavior. Eleven collection points will be available throughout the city, encouraging proper disposal of old or defective electronic equipment. Participants can win prizes through a raffle for small and medium-sized waste, while those disposing of large appliances will receive guaranteed rewards. Collection points will operate from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and free home pickup for large items is available by appointment. This campaign supports national efforts for a circular economy and aims to make recycling a natural habit for citizens.
