Most students struggle to find housing, especially in Bucharest, where five students compete for each bed. Public dormitories account for 94% of available spots, while private options are limited and costly. Comparatively, Poland and the Czech Republic face similar challenges, but Romanian students benefit from lower accommodation costs if they can secure a place.
