Dorel Ioan Mocanu, president of ARTS, discussed the latest technologies to be showcased at the 2026 Romanian Security Fair, emphasizing the integration of AI in security solutions. A recent investigation revealed that over 1.2 billion internet-connected cameras globally have become tools for espionage, highlighting the need for robust cybersecurity measures. The fair will feature over 60 exhibitors presenting advanced solutions for video surveillance, access control, and fire protection. The local security market is projected to grow significantly, driven by demand for integrated security solutions and collaboration among industry players.
