Călin Georgescu a fost reținut de DIICOT după 9 ore de percheziții

Călin Georgescu was detained after nearly nine hours of searches related to a fraud case involving 1.1 million euros. He is set to be presented to the Bucharest Tribunal for preventive arrest. Alongside him, two others are implicated in the case, facing charges of fraud and organized crime. During the searches, a diplomatic ID allegedly issued by the Order of Malta was found, although the Order denies his membership. Supporters gathered at DIICOT to show their backing for Georgescu, who is a pro-Russian figure and former presidential candidate.
