Călin Georgescu and his wife, Cristela, have been summoned for the third consecutive day to DIICOT for investigations related to electronic devices seized from their home. Approximately 80 to 90 devices, including laptops and phones, are being analyzed in connection with a fraud case involving over one million euros. Prosecutors suspect some of these funds were used in Georgescu's electoral campaign. DIICOT has also placed a freeze on Georgescu's bank accounts and his house in Mogoșoaia. He is currently in preventive detention for 30 days due to concerns he might evade prosecution or influence the investigation.
