Calea ferată Cluj–Oradea: Loturile 1 și 2 au ajuns la 76-77%

The electrification and rehabilitation project for the Cluj-Napoca – Oradea – Episcopia Bihor railway is progressing, with lots 1 and 2 at 76-77% completion. The project includes modernizing tracks, drainage systems, and stations, aiming for speeds of up to 160 km/h for passenger trains. Arcada Company is involved in the first two lots, with contracts totaling over 3 billion lei. The completion deadline for the PNRR-funded phase is August 2026, while full project completion is expected in the second half of 2027. Arcada has a significant portfolio in railway infrastructure projects across Romania.
