Temperatures in Romania are set to rise, particularly in the west and southwest, reaching 24-25 degrees Celsius. Wind will be a significant weather phenomenon, with gusts up to 70 km/h in the southeast. Elena Mateescu from ANM noted that the country is experiencing a warm air mass from tropical origins. Nights will gradually warm, but eastern Transylvania may still see lows around 2 degrees Celsius. The likelihood of snowfall in mountainous areas is decreasing due to the warming trend, although existing snow may persist at higher altitudes. The warm weather is expected to continue into early October, especially in the western regions.
